Genzyme again has had to admit that it won't be able to supply Fabrazyme in August and September to Fabry's patients in desperate need. This time the Company has issued an apology but still can't say when it will be able to return to full scale production and supply. Thus continues a two-year saga of disappointment.

Genzyme may be sincerely sorry -- but I feel really sorry for the patients waiting on their life saving drugs -- some of whom are in dire need. I don't know how the competitive Shire product, Replagal, can NOT be made available under such circumstances.
