I saw this short piece in In the Pipeline this morning, Derek Lowe noted that Carl Icahn apparently has liquidated his positions in Biogen (shed 8 million shares since June), has no holdings in Amgen and nothing in Regeneron. He appears to have left the building. Derek comments, he must be "finding no positions worth taking" and that probably isn't a good thing either.
To paraphrase, "Old Biotech investors never die they just fade away." And if you read Fierce Biotech this morning too let's hope the industry isn't fading towards China in the future.
