Medivationa and Pfizer announced today that their drug, dimebon, failed to meet its end points in a pivotal trial for Huntington's disease. As a result, development on the drug has been stopped.
Medivation, Pfizer Fail Huntington's Test.
A phase III trial utilizing the drug against Alzheimer's in patients with mild-to-moderate symptoms will continue.
