Not sure where you would have heard that - perhaps where you are from comes into play. Certainly, US insurers encourage on-line ordering for multi-months to manage costs. There may be some crack down on online ordering without valid perscriptions however -- or ordering internationally.

I have heard that people are no more going to buy online medicines this has been stopped by the pharmacy payment gateway service providers.
