Chairman PV Ramprasad Reddy announced that Aurobindo has signed its second major generics supply deal with an MNC - this time with AstraZeneca. Its previous generics licensing deal was with Pfizer. The AZ deal calls for Aurobindo to provide generics - both solid dosage forms and sterile liquids - for disease categories covering anti-infectives, cardiovascular and CNS drugs.
