The FDA has made a much greater effort to be more transparent in servicing its constituencies in the past 9-12 months. Today they announced a redesign of the FDA Basics site.
According to the FDA Transparency blog, the changes include the following and were made after analyzing web traffic coming to the site:

Cleaner look-and-feel

Easier access to the major content areas, videos, and webinars
- Restructured slideshow
The official launch of the new site will occur later this month.
