This from the Boston Globe via the Pharmalot blog. It seems Henri Termeer can collect $11 M in salary and another $11.9 M in stock should Sanofi-Aventis (or anyone else) acquire Genzyme.

Not a bad parachute for someone who had lorded over the difficulties that Genzyme has endured in the past year - including a proxy fight that could have resulted in his ouster had it not been averted by a last minute deal with Carl Icahn.
