Are Pharma Layoffs Slowing Down?

This from the Pharmalot blog on layoffs in the Pharma industry since the beginning of 2010.  At halfway point for year, pharma is in number three slot for losses by an industry. Certainly May represented less axes than previous months. 

But are we slowing down or catching second breath?  There are a few mega-mergers out there that still need to reduce staff to meet their announced goals for R&D reductions and cost savings.
