I shared with a colleague of mine that I had been selected by Samantha Miller as one of the"50 Best Biotech Blogs for Students". Certainly, I am thrilled to be singled out by any group for recognition as I've only been doing this a couple of months. However, to keep me grounded he reminded me of the following:
"The only thing that might burst your bubble is to find out that there are 52 blogs in existence and 51 is Hoss's 4 B ( big bonanza biology blog) which focuses on the epigenetic differences between Hoss and Little Joe Cartwright and # 52 Marmoset magic."
Despite such naysaying, I am still grateful to Samantha for the mention and will always consider this to be my first "Major Award"
