Several companies have reported profits to be up in 2009 and particularly in Qtr 4 due to the sales of flu vaccines or related products. ABC News reported CSL net income was up 23% at $556 M on the back of flu vaccine sales for the first half of their financial year.
Likewise, in-PharmaTechnologist reported SAFC sales were up 18% in Qtr 4 as compared to prior year, due in large part to increased sales of its squalene adjuvant used in H1N1 vaccines.
